Take An Exponential Step

Stepping Into Your Larger Life

Imagine. You walk just 30 steps and travel 26 times around the earth. No, not in a sci-fi movie, but in real everyday life.

I'm not playing with your head. I'm talking about the awesome power of exponential living.

Exponential means what?

In very simple terms, the word, exponential, refers to any kind of very rapid change. Let's apply this definition to our example of walking 30 steps to travel around the earth 26 times.

In our example, one step equals 3 feet or 1 yard. To fully appreciate the meaning of exponential, let's contrast it with its opposite, the word, linear.

  • You are standing in a room. You take one linear step. You've travelled 3 feet. You take 29 more linear steps. You've covered a distance of 90 feet.
  • Now, see yourself in a different room with only 3 walls. There is no wall directly infront of you. There is just unlimited space.
  • There's magic in this three-walled room. It transforms each step you take into an exponential step that is double the length of the step before it.

How Many Feet In 30 Exponential Steps?

Exponential Income

Ok. Let's bring this exponential thing home. Let's talk about money and the impact it has on your life.

Here's an offer with two choices. You must pick one. I'll give you a certified check for one million dollars today. Or, I'll give you one penny today and double the number of pennies each day for 30 days.

What's your choice? I'm guessing you picked the penny because of what you just learned about linear vs. exponential steps. And yoiur choice is defintily the smart one. How smart?

Before I answer that, let's play a guessing game. Take a wild guess at how much money you'll have on day 15 in the double your pennies game?

Don't cheat. Guess.

Well, the answer is a whopping $163.84. Not exaclty life changing. On day 22, you'd still only have $20,971.52. Not shabby. But again, life changing it ain't.

But hey, this money is a gift, so hang in there. If you do, you'll walk away with $5,368,709.12 on day 30! No lie.

Think about it. The exponential growth of one penny over 30 days can change the quality of your life forever.

Linear Lives In An Exponential World

Mosty people are not aware of the exponential forces shaping their everyday lives. Digital technology and AI are turning science fiction into science fact at warp speed.

Still, the majority of people cling to the linear models of living and earning that are part of the industrial age. The result is that they work too long and too hard for small rewards. Their lives are defined by struggle.

It's crazy! If they would just step off the merry-go-round for one minute, they would feel and seize the power, abundance, and ease of exponential living.

They would stop trading their time for dollars. That is a game they cannot win. They would welcome one of the many opportunites to work less and earn more. They would stop living to work. They would find renewed joy in working to live.

Fear Of Change

It took me a while to get why so many people choose to work for a fixed salary or an hourly wage when it caused them so much pain.

The pain of doing without so many things they would love to have. The pain of spending so much of their time away from their families. The pain of accepting limits to their time, their freedom, and their joy.

Then, a friend told me a story about a dog that sat on a porch, always on the same spot. Every few minutes, the dog howled. One day, a passerby knocked on the front door to the house. The owner opened the door, and greeted the stranger, who asked why the dog howled like he was in pain.

The owner said the dog was sitting on a nail. "What?!" said the stranger. "Why doens't he move to anolther spot." The owner replied, "Because it doesn't hurt enough."

That simple story stayed with me. And, it made me look at my own life. How many things did I tolerate even though they made me unhappy? Just not unhappy enough to face the unkown of change.

I hate to admit it, but I was like that dog who kept sitting on a nail. That thought jolted me into saying, "Enough! I will face my fear of the unknown and take steps toward the things I really desired and dreamt about.

One of the main things that was a big nail in my side was a limted linear income that just paid the bills, put food on the table, and kept me paly it safe and small.

The step I took was to say yes to network marketing because I understood the power of exponential income with no ceiling. Income with unlimted earning potentential.

I stopped worrying about what people would say. You know, things like, "You joined one of those scams? Are you stupid?"

I didn't try to explain why network market ing is not a scam. I just smiled and said, "Thanks for sharing your opinion. You're entitled to that."

Was it scary? Hell, yeah! Was it worth it? You bet!

Are you sitting on a nail? Maybe more than one nail? Are you willing to discover what it feels like when you make the simple cholce to get up and move to a spot with no nails?

If the answer is yes, click the link, and watch the six minute video at Take An Exponential Step.

You'll see that you can actually choose to explore this opportunity for exponential income growth without any cost or obligation whatsoever.

Or, you can continue to tolerate your nails.
